What to Expect

  • Most of our members choose to wear formal or business casual for worship services.

  • Children are always welcome in our worship.

  • A staffed nursery is provided for young children during both services. You are welcome to check-in children before the service or exit with children to the nursery at any time.

  • Bibles and song books are located in each pew

  • Communion is celebrated 4 times annually during the morning worship service on the third Sunday of the months of February, May, August and November.

  • We gather for worship in celebration and thanksgiving 6 additional days each year.

    • Good Friday - 6:30PM

    • Ascension Day - May 6, 2027 - 6:30 PM

    • Thanksgiving Day - 9:30 AM

Useful Information

Order of Worship

  • Call to Worship (usually, the minister reads a short passage from the Psalms)

  • Silent Prayer (2 minutes for personal prayer and reflection)

  • Doxology (congregation sings)

    • “Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him, all creatures here below. Praise Him above, ye heavenly host. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, Amen.”

  • Votum & Salutation & Benediction (by the pastor)

  • Congregational Singing (from the grey Psalter); the number will be announced by the pastor. The boards at the front also list the song numbers for the morning on the left and evening on the right side

  • Reading of the Law in the morning or Reciting the Apostles’ Creed in the evening

  • Congregational Singing (from the grey Psalter)

  • Prayer led by the pastor

  • Offerings collected

  • Congregational Singing (from the grey Psalter)

  • Reading of Scripture, the page of the reading in the pew bible will be announced

  • Preaching of a sermon (usually about 45min)

  • Prayer
